Sindibad Park

FAMILY

In the Ain Diab district of Casablanca, a short drive from the Atlantic Corniche, Sindibad Park combines a small theme park and a zoo into a single leisure complex. The setup is unusual for the city — mechanical rides on one side, a modest zoo with North African species on the other, shaded food courts and play zones in between. It is the most reliable family day out in Casablanca, especially on weekends and school holidays when local families fill the gates.

The theme park side runs the standard mechanical roster: a small roller coaster, a carousel, drop towers calibrated for younger riders, swing chairs, and several spinning attractions. A large share of the rides are family-friendly with height limits set for toddlers and younger children, which means the park works for under-fives in a way that European parks of similar scale often do not. The zoo side is modest — North African species, ostriches, monkeys, big cats in a manageable footprint — and reads as a complement to the rides rather than as a destination in itself.

Tickets are required (pricing varies by day and by adult/child split; check the park's website for the current grid). Plan half a day for a full visit; longer if you are combining the rides, the zoo, and a meal at the on-site food courts. Weekday mornings are the shortest queues. Summer evenings run later opening hours and are cooler for younger kids; the heat in the middle of a summer afternoon is uncomfortable on the open paths. Pair with the Corniche or Ain Diab beach for a full family day in one part of the city.
